This is a guideline course about animation product planning, marketing strategy and distribution planning, also about the hardware and software requirements, current applications, and the future of the digital content field. Through the discussion of various applications including the internet, animation, games and other digital media, the course places an emphasis on the design and production processes, authoring software, and available digital formats for digital filmmaking. The class also helps develop students’ skills in proposal writing and project management, while introducing students to related research.
