A range of approaches to the medium from cartoons, experimental films to Animation. Students will be introduced to a number of methods for acquiring image including digital photography and computer drawing and painting and 3D modeling. Approaches to animation will include sequencing and composing images, using the computer to process and transform graphics, generating 3D animation and combining computer graphics and video. As skills develop, attention will be increasingly focused on the medium’s potential for experimentation and personal expression.

本課程的重點在於了解電腦立體模型建構的方式及動畫技巧，並符合主要設計課程對視覺造型的要求，以期達到電腦技術與設計能力相輔相成的目標。該課程學年結束時必須辦理一場畢業展演，每年於新一代設計展展出並推薦於設計業界做為企業徵才與學系教學成果展演。
