視覺語言 (二)

How is the significance of the visual objects working and constructing, including images, icons, space distribution and texts. This course is focusing on the visual objects, which bears on the function of indication. We will talk about paints, topics, advertising, commercials, photography, videos, moves and archeology and introduce the semantics and interaction’s theory. Student will be trained to understand the verbal world and better the skills of expression.

本課程點出視覺物的無所不在，皆有承擔告知或指示的功能，因而著眼於探討意義如何構成與運作，其中包括影像、圖像及空間配置乃至傳遞訊息的文字等等。課程內容涵蓋了繪畫、文字、造型、標題、裝置、廣告、攝影、錄像、電影與建築等各類型的藝術到日常生活的社會空間，並深入淺出地介紹語言記號學的理論基礎與互動理論，其目標在於理解這個日益包圍我們的語言世界，並期使有助於建立個人的表達工具。在學期成績上要求學生組團合作，作口頭報告，題目不拘，但務求創意，發揮觀察力。
