This course provides an opportunity for visual arts majors to learn about music production for multimedia. It will introduce to students the music production process, sound editing techniques, related theory and aesthetics, software and hardware setup, and etc. This training will enable students to consider audio and video as a whole in their inter media design, and to strengthen the expression of their work with the help of good music and sound effects. Besides, learning about the latest music production software also enables these non-professional musicians to produce music with decent quality and in an efficient way.

本課程旨在提供以視覺設計為主要學習重心的學生，一個瞭解多媒體配樂、配音效時的基本流程、軟體操作、理論與技巧之學習機會。課程設立除了注重以視訊結合音訊音效的整體考量、也希望讓學生習得利用數位音樂軟體所提供的強大功能，使非專業音樂家也能製作高品質的多媒體配樂。
